Opening earlier this year, Niji has become a firm Double Bay favourite, attracting diners from all around and building a well deserved reputation for excellence and creativity.

Niji is named after the diverse colour and taste associated with food. Its menu features contemporary Japanese food infused with traditional Japanese Izakaya dishes with Western ingredients & modern taste.

Harlequin Market has been busy hand-making our new range of crystal necklaces, earrings and cuffs. We have re-created some favourites and designed some original, flawless pieces. Crystal accents, championed by Anna Wintour, now come in new colours, shapes and sizes. They're great layered or worn as a simple strand. A range of uber chic crystal ear cuffs have also been crafted, for the trend-driven fashionistas out there.These European crystals are predominantly Austrian or Czech, and have been hand set in mixed metal. All of the new works are of top quality craftsmanship, and the individual designs are exclusive to Harlequin Market.

FINDING A LITTLE LOVE IN DOUBLE BAY

Google the word Chinta and you will find that it literally means "Love" in the Malay language.

Harness that with the word "Kechil" (the old Malasian word for small) and you have yourself a "LITTLE LOVE" - Right here in the heart of Double Bay at 342 New South Head Road.

Opening with little fanfare June 10 it is the latest venture by the owner of Chinta Ria at Cockle Bay.

With great decor and delicious Malasian food it's a welcome addition to Double Bay's growing choice of international dining styles.

Manager Alison will immediately make you feel at home and owner Simon Goh talks of plans to expand saying, ''We're most likely doing a vintage jazz dining room in a neighbouring property that will open in three or four months".

So all in all it looks like Chinta Kechil really is the place to FIND A LITTLE LOVE IN DOUBLE BAY.
